Christmas Giving Tree
At First Reformed we reach out to help those in need at Christmas Time. In our lobby we have a giving tree placed with cloths, toys, and cash needs of families in need. We fill the tree with needs several times and try to help all that have been identified to us. Come to church and share the spirit and grab a gift tag to help another.
Feed the Hungry "Soup Place
The "Soup Place" is a ministry of First Reformed that meets every Thursday from 5-7:00p.m. to feed a hearty soup and more. Everyone is welcome to come and eat and enjoy a safe environment with good fellowship.<><> We could use desseret donations each week. We could use a cake or two, cookies or even a pie. Place your dessert donation labeled "Soup Place" on the island in the kitchen. We appreciate your donations and prayers. We help 60-70 each week.
Outreach Ministries
Our church has been sponsoring Kairos House in Guatemala City, through contributions and donations of vitamins and other supplies. Kairos House provides housing and food for families of cancer patients at the local hospital. The mission also extends out into two small villages, Tierra Blanca and Chiguaton, considered the poor of the poor in Guatemala.
